Work that isn't all work. . .

Volunteers perform nearly all of the work done at camp. Work weekends are a time when families, friends, small groups, mission teams and individuals gather together to volunteer their time and energy to work at camp. All are welcome.

We have fun as well as work hard, but we don't just work. What's work without a little fellowship? Many people leave a weekend having made new friends. Everywhere you look around camp you see where our volunteers have been. It's fun to hear a young child at camp comment that she helped her dad build that building. Everyone is able to participate: four-year-olds excitedly carry mattresses to a tent; while at the same time skilled plumbers and electricians are using their indispensable talents to build a new building.

These girls are enjoying our pool that was completed in part by volunteers. During the year we have several work weekends the largest being during the Labor and Memorial day weekends. We LOVE help and if you can attend any of these weekends, please contact our camp office or send us an E-Mail.

2008 Work Weekend Dates

On these weekends we enjoy fellowship on Friday night and start early Saturday morning. Saturday evening we have some fun doing camp things and playing games. On Sunday morning we have a church service and then work until lunch.
