Every Weekend is Unisome!

(That's short for "Uniquely Awesome" - "Awequely" doesn't roll of the tongue as well)

You'll find that each weekend program is unique; however, they all have the following characteristics:

• Families benefit from a Cherith camping experience.  It provides a quiet forest setting where strong relationships are nurtured.
• Our family programs are designed for relaxation, adventure, fun and worship.  The emphasis is on encouraging families to interact, explore, share and learn together.
• Each thematically programmed weekend includes a picnic, campfire, Bible study, worship, games, crafts and other creative/"crazy" activities to promote family bonds.  Come and make memories to last a lifetime!
• Come once...and you'll be coming back for years!

 

 

Dad, what could be better than spending quality time with your daughter(s) in a beautiful setting? Girls, want dad all to yourself? This is the weekend you both have been looking for! Get connect away from all the noise of everyday life and relax. Have time to share fun activities, quiet conversations and challenging crafts.

Weekends are available in both spring and fall:

Father/Daughter – June 6-8
Father/Teen Daughter Canoe Weekend – September 19-21

 

This weekend is designed for girls between the ages of 6 and 14.
What we have planned:

• HFCC's annual "father-daughter" kickball game
• Hike to the river
• Picnic lunch.

All are housed in platform tents or cabins.
Daughters stay with women counselors.

Cost: Parent - $90; Child - $70 up to a family maximum of $210.

 

 

Fathers and sons can get connected with each other as they are challenged to complete an obstacle course, a craft project and other relationship building adventures. For boys ages 6 and up. Come and test yourself on the obstacle course! Make an investment before and during the teen years! Cost: Parent - $90; Child - $70 up to a family maximum of $210.

 

 

 

For girls ages 6-14. Mothers are housed together with daughters. Mom, relax and spend a great weekend getting to know your daughter(s) away from the hustle and bustle of family life. We do the cooking, you just relax, have fun, and enjoy crisp fall days, crafts and crazy games. Cost: Parent - $90; Child - $70 up to a family maximum of $210.

Arrivals and Departures

• Plan to arrive Friday between 8 pm and 10 pm.  (Please, no arrivals before 8 pm.)

• The weekends conclude after Sunday brunch and a worship service. Departure is around 12:00 noon.

• Upon receipt of your registration, we will send detailed directions to camp and a packing list.

A SPECIAL NOTE TO PASTORS

• As a way of supporting you and your ministry, Huron Forest Camp Cherith is offering you and your children FREE weekends at any of our Parent-Child weekends!

• Include a note on your church letterhead with the completed registration form.  Send no registration fee.  We'll be planning on you!
