7 Exciting Ways to Experience HFCC. . .
We now have 7 different weekly camp sessions in our summer program. New for 2008 is co-ed camping (ChEx Mix) for campers entering grades 6-12 - details coming soon. We tried out two new camping programs in the last two years and they're back again this year - both Family Camp and S.O.A.R. (Surviving On the Ausable River). As with last year, Family camp will be offered once, but S.O.A.R. will be offered twice in 2008. Both sessions of S.O.A.R. will be open to both boys and girls ages 13 - 17. As with last year, space for each of these weeks is limited to 12 campers. Each of these programs is uniquely special and provides opportunities for children with diverse interests to grow, develop skills, and have a blast doing so!
You'll also find that there is no shortage of activity at HFCC. We have: archery, canoeing, swimming, mountain biking, riflery, air riflery arts & crafts, outdoor cooking, horsemanship*, outdoor sports, orienteering, hiking, fishing, outdoor living skills, drama, tubing, kayaking, swamp stomping, and we've got a zip line that'll take you flying through the forest and down the hill and we have an initiatives course we call "The Outer Limits" featuring a bouldering wall, The Web, Crossing the Jordan and other extreme initiatives!
Follow the links below for more information on each of the weekly camp sessions we're offering for 2008!
We've worked hard to make this year's summer program the best it's ever been, but we need you to complete the job. Come join us and let us show you the difference that a summer of HFCC can make for eternity!
*Horsemanship classes require an additional cost of $70 per child for the entire week and includes over 5 hours of instruction taught by a CHA-certified horsemanship instructor.
